Taura laboratory is a research laboratory in the

Our main expertise is on programming languages, system software,
parallel computing, and distributed computing. We are especially
interested in high level parallel processing software, which makes the
power of high performance computers much more accessible to domain
scientists.

= A Short History =

It formally becomes a standalone group from spring 2012,
until which it is a part of [[http://www.logos.ic.i.u-tokyo.ac.jp/wiki-en/|Chikayama-Taura Laboratory]].
We will continue to closely collaborate with the new Chikayama-Tsuruoka laboratory.
